MS activists connect

msActivistsConnect_fmt Public policy conference to increase awareness about issues important to the MS community—including research funding.

In mid-March, more than 300 MS activists from all over the country will gather to celebrate achievements and kick off the year’s federal policy initiatives at the Society’s 2014 Public Policy Conference, held near Washington, D.C. There, MS activists will connect with each other and policy-issue experts, and visit more than 350 offices on Capitol Hill to increase awareness about issues important to the MS community—including research funding. MS activists not able to attend in person will join the effort through social media, email and other means of contacting their legislators.
